This was the end of my long weekend. I made this wedding cake for my friend Dave.

I know what he can't do! If you ask Shannon it is take out the garbage.

The cake came out beautiful. Did you brew the beer for the nuptuals to?

Keeefer, I couldn't stop laughing at your comment. I work too but I'm always the one taking the photos. Will is always surprised at how much work I get done. Let's just say Will is not a fast worker.

Keeefer, Will was a baker for 10 years.

Keeefer, I told you that I'm an electronic technician. I work at an airport. Right now I work on communication equipment. Radios, transmitters, receivers, antennas and whatever else my coworkers need help with. I had to work on the Fourth of July, but I did get to go up to the Air Traffic Control Tower and watch fireworks when it got dark.

Keefer, not just any airport. San Francisco International Airport. I happen to feel that's a big deal. And a great responsiblity. I have an aviation background as an aircraft mechanic and weight and balance specialist and know something about aircraft, flying, and airports as relates to navigation systems. Excuse me while I brag but, oh yeah, my other kid is a doctor.

Will,
Your cake is amazing (and I know it must have tasted great, too). You are a slowpoke though - always have been. As dad always said "he's slower than molasses in January" or "if he went any faster, he'd be going backwards". There was a reason that his favorite animal was the sloth.

Keeefer, there's lot's of stuff I can't do...most notably type.

Kelly, no I didn't brew any beer for the wedding because I knew that about half of the people in attendance were A.A. What I wasn't aware of was the other half that was O.A...alas about half the cake went to waste.

Big sis' I always thought dad said "if he went any slower he'd be going backwards."
